Forgotten Laws of Success Revealed to You Finally

The Forgotten Laws of Success have been hidden from main stream education for ages. Whether this has been deliberate or a coincidence is of little importance or significance, the fact of the matter is they are hereby revealed to you. In my studies of the laws of success it has come to my understanding that mankind has always been searching for the hidden secrets even principles and practices of those wise men who lived before them in order to separate themselves from the status quot, to develop the qualities of the man or woman of success, to become a leader taking their rightful place in society.

It is man’s prerogative to grow, to learn, to stretch himself beyond the limits of physical, mental, spiritual and psycological boundaries, and the only way to do that is to come into an awareness of the factors that transform us into what we desire to be.

Here are the forgotten laws revealed to you;

The Law of Thinking, many of the so called bad things that happen to us would not be so if we only thought about what we do and even say on a regular basis. Our thoughts are the seedlings of every act and spoken word and much more effort should be placed on this simple yet profound activity.

The Law of Supply, if we truly studied this law and understood it we would understand that there is no lack of anything. The universe is capable of supplying all our needs and desires on every level, hence as we grow, our needs are being met.

The Law of Attraction, there are two words that are of utmost importance with this law and those two words are desire and expectation. You must desire something and with that burning desire you must also have great expectation, that you will achieve your heart’s desire, they go hand-in-hand and this is an absolute truth.

The Law of Receiving, this one stumps most people but it is so simple and profound. It is based on God’s Law of Love and if you don’t understand love you will never understand God, herein lies the secret to the law of receiving. If you want to receive, you must become a giver, become a channel where gifts flow through you to enrich the lives of others and as you do that, your life in return is enriched. This is clearly stated in Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

The Law of Increase, this law might make you want to raise your eyebrow, but it is also very simple. In essence it is saying, “when the praises go up, the blessing come down.” Learn to praise and give thanks for what you have with an attitude of gratitude. Stop complaining and whining, you have many things to be grateful for, identify them and be known as a “praiser,” your substance will be increased.

The Law of Compensation, our penal institutions all over the world are filled to capacity because men and women wrongfully think they can outwit this law. Do not be fooled for an instance, if you operate in a manner contrary to any of these laws, you will lose. As a matter of fact, you do not “break” any law, you confirm it. If you should jump from a fifty storey building, you do not break the law of gravity, you confirm it, ‘what goes up must come down”. This law simply states that you “reap what you sow”. Whether in thought or deeds and there is no getting around it, the law is absolute, all of God’s laws are absolute.

The Law of Non-Resistance, have you ever noticed how water just seem to flow off the back of a duck? its the way their feathers are designed. We need to develop this kind of “feather” in our character. When you do that, other peoples negative statements and mindset do not affect you. You will in time become impervious to even negative thoughts because you have fortified yourself with right thinking and a positive, right attitude.

The Law of Forgiveness is one of the most difficult laws, yet if we wish to be forgiven by others, we must in tern forgive those who have spitefully used us and done all manner of evil against us. This law requires great humility, patience and practice. We release ourselves from the emotional baggage, burden and bondage of hatred, un-forgiveness and vengeance, when we learn to forgive those who have done us wrong.

The Law of Sacrifice speaks to the “price one must pay for change”. Many wondering souls have stopped short of their dreams and life’s goal because they were not prepared to pay the required price for changing their situation or status. This law speaks to ones discipline in sticking to a task until it is achieved. You must never be found wavering or double-minded in your efforts, or else you will never win the prize. Learn to apply this law to you life and nothing will be impossible for you.

The Law of Obedience speaks to ones obedience to the laws of nature, the laws of God, to live a successful and meaningful life. Understanding these laws and remaining obedient to these universal principles is what separates a life lived successfully and a life lived filled with regret, remorse and disappointment.

The Law of Success, is a law I sometimes call the I Can law. This law speaks to your attitude. In other words, if you think you can you are right, if you think you can’t you are also right. This was one of the mantras of the great Henry Ford. Believe you are a winner and you will become a winner, but if you think you will lose you most certainly have already lost.

The Unbreakable Laws of the Universe

To live a harmonious life, you must not only abide by the laws of your country, but also by the natural Laws of the Universe. If we transgress, there will be consequences. Like any country, the universe is also governed by certain laws. We refer to these as Universal Laws or Laws of Nature, ‘whose content is set by nature and is therefore universal’ (Wikipedia).

The Law of Gravity is an example of a Universal Law. So is the Law of Conservation of Energy, that is, energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one form to another. However, unlike human laws, which can vary from country to country, Universal Laws are consistent and unchanging. You interact with these laws with every breath you take. They govern your existence.

Nothing about your life has been casual or accidental!

The Universal Laws seem to be mysterious. They have hidden truths. When you identify these hidden truths and utilise them correctly, miracles or amazing results occur in your life. It may manifest as suddenly having money when you need it the most, reversing a life-threatening disease, or succeeding in a particular endeavour. These ‘miracles’, no matter how incredible they might be, are not unbelievable outcomes. They are natural outcomes based on the correct application of specific laws of nature.

Unfortunately, some of the Universal Laws are not as clear-cut as they might seem. There are unnoticed subtleties to the Universal Laws which, when understood and applied, can make all the difference between happiness and misery, prosperity and poverty, peace and conflict, ease and struggle.

It’s easy to think that some people are born to affluence and all good things happen to them. The truth is, these people aren’t simply lucky; good things don’t just ‘happen’ to them. They’re just applying the Laws of the Universe more effectively, whether they’re aware of it or not. The laws are flawless; they work perfectly every time, all the time. If you seem to be doing all the right things, but your results are poor, consider the Laws of the Universe and how you are applying them. This book will help you.

How many laws are there? Many.

These laws govern every aspect of our existence. The supreme Law of the Universe is the Law of Cause and Effect, also referred to as karma or the parable of ‘reaping what you sow’. For every effect there is a cause; for every action there is a reaction. Positive action equates to a positive result. The Law of Cause and Effect transcends time, space or form.

It operates whether you are aware of it or not.

Every human thought, word or deed is a cause that sets off a wave of energy throughout the universe, resulting in desirable or undesirable effects. If there are undesirable effects, it simply means that at some time in the past, there was a thought, word or deed that caused a wave of undesirable energy. As normal, fully-functioning people we are quite literally responsible for everything in our lives. The following excerpt illustrates this concept.

This is the suggestion a man gave to his subconscious mind over a period of about two years: “I would give my right arm to see my daughter cured.” It appeared that his daughter had a crippling form of arthritis together with a so-called incurable form of skin disease. Medical treatment had failed to alleviate the condition, and the father had an intense longing for his daughter’s healing, and expressed his desire in the words just quoted.

One day the family was out for a drive. Their car was involved in a head-on collision. The father’s right arm was torn off at the shoulder. When he came home from the hospital, he discovered that his daughter’s arthritis and skin condition had vanished.

(Murphy, 2001)

Everyone is subject to these same natural Laws of the Universe, regardless of race, colour, creed or gender. The laws exert their influence without our consent or awareness. When we choose the behaviour, we choose the consequences. Interestingly, the people who are frustrated in life consistently try to defy the natural laws. And, not surprisingly, successful people live in harmony with the natural Laws of the Universe.

Deepak Chopra, an authority in mind-body medicine, identified these issues in his bestselling book, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, saying ‘no debt in the universe ever goes unpaid. There is a perfect accounting system in this universe, and everything is a constant “to and fro” exchange of energy’.

All of life is connected; what we do to others, we do to ourselves. According to the principle of karma, any negative or positive thought or action remains that way, until it expends (uses up) its energy by acting upon the originator. The energy you create through your thoughts, words and deeds – either negative or positive – will rebound and act on YOU. But, as it is the nature of energy to expand when it is put out into the world, you will at some point experience much more than you caused others to experience.

If you cause others to experience prosperity and wellbeing, it will come back to you and you will experience it as well, often multiplied. In like manner, if you hurt someone, the energy will eventually return and cause you even greater hurt, unless of course you make amends in some way.

Eighteenth-century German poet and philosopher, Wolfgang Von Goethe wrote:

Nature understands no jesting; she is always true, always serious, always severe; she is always right, and the errors and faults are always those of man. The man incapable of appreciating her, she despises and only to the apt, the pure, and the true, does she resign herself and reveal her secrets.

The Law of Cause and Effect is the IRON LAW of the universe. It is unyielding. If you defy this law, there will be consequences – no ‘ifs, ands, or buts’ about it. It’s fascinating (and often tragic) to observe how many of us try to defy this law, especially when we pursue quick and easy gains. Often we strive for what we want by doing the exact opposite of what is in our best interest.

This beautiful fable illustrates the mystifying and sometimes illusive nature of the Law of Cause and Effect.

The Secret to Creating Affluence

A young man went to the forest and said to his spiritual master, ‘I want to have unlimited wealth, to help and heal the world. What is the secret to wealth?’

The spiritual master said, ‘There are two Goddesses that reside in the heart of every human being: the Goddess of WEALTH and the Goddess of KNOWLEDGE’.

‘Although you love both, you must pursue one of them to the exclusion of the other. Pursue her, love her, and give her your attention. Understand that only the Goddess of Wealth can give you wealth, and you may pursue only one Goddess, not both’.

‘But, here is the secret: If you pursue the Goddess of Wealth, she will be pleased with you because she loves to be chased. The more you pursue her the more she will elude you. However, if you pursue the Goddess of KNOWLEDGE, the Goddess of WEALTH will become extremely jealous and pay more att ention to you. In fact, the more you seek the Goddess of Knowledge, the more the Goddess of Wealth will seek you. She will never leave you. She will constantly shower you with material blessings just to win your attention, and the wealth you desire will be yours forever’.

Adapted from (Chopra, 1993)

The human tendency is to pursue the Goddess of Wealth, which seems like the logical choice. However, wealth is simply an effect, and like any effect it has a cause. In the fable, pursuing one goddess gets you the best of both worlds; wealth comes from the acquisition and proper application of knowledge.

So let’s be clear: your goals and dreams will manifest when you and the Laws of the Universe are in harmony!

It’s a scientific fact that the universe operates in absolute harmony with IRREVOCABLE natural laws and principles that have NEVER varied throughout all time. These laws prevail regardless of whether we heed them or not. Those individuals who live in harmony with the Laws of the Universe will emerge victorious. Bestselling author, Bob Proctor, summed it up perfectly when he said,

You are living and working in a dynamic global marketplace that leaves little room for error. In future, only those individuals whose beliefs are sound, in harmony with the laws of the universe, and have been integrated with their behavior, will emerge as real winners.

(Proctor 2011)

This much we know with certainty: you have unlimited potential and you can tap into and harness this potential by combining:

1. a deeper understanding of yourself (your power of attraction) with

2. specific efforts towards a desired outcome (your power of action).

In other words, you’ll experience the rewards (the Law of Receiving) when you truly understand that you have immense, untapped ability, and you combine that understanding with deliberate application of the Law of Attraction and the Law of Action.

Universal Laws-Understanding How They Affect Your Life

There are laws that govern the universe and consequently affect your life every single day. Take for instance the Law of Gravity. This law allows you the ability to walk firmly on the ground and not float around aimlessly in space. You know this law because if you drop something it falls immediately downward to the ground or floor, yet I doubt you seldom ever consciously stop to think about this law and its importance in your life. Regardless of whether you consciously think about it, it exists and is always part of your everyday life.

So it is with the other many laws of our universe. Whether you ever think about them consciously, they are always actively playing out in your life, each one interplaying with the others. Most of you have heard of the Law of Attraction and are probably striving to attract particular things into your life – better job, soulmate relationship, more money, great health, and so forth. Yet it seems these things often elude you and so you ask “Why isn’t it working?”

Recently I listened to a webinar that shared some very enlightening explanations of how these laws work, so I felt guided to share them with you after I realized why we can be so off track in trying so hard to attract what we want. As I mentioned above, each universal law interplays with another, so if one is off course, it will throw off the next, which in turn prevents the very desires we hope to attract from showing up. So let’s discuss these laws so you understand how intrinsically they are influencing every aspect of your living.

Take for instance the Law of Creation, or if you will, the Law of Energy. You’ve heard me talk about energy countless times because this is our composition – energy. We are energetic beings who are constantly creating the experiences in our life, thus making us creators. You probably understand this law – what energy you put out is what you create – that negative fear-based thoughts create negative experiences and positive loving thoughts create positive experiences. This is a scientific fact about energy and thus our role as creators of what shows up in our life. Where you direct your focus is what shows up.

So this takes us a step further to the Law of Vibration. In essence, the Law of Creation (or Energy) produces a vibration. The difference here is this: In the Law of Creation/Energy, you create a thought that sends out the energy, but it’s the feeling in the vibration that creates it into reality. Perhaps you ask for something for your life and you really want it, but every time you think about it you doubt it can appear. You have then created the opposite of what you want due to the actual vibration you felt – a negative fear-based feeling. And this is key: You can see it in your mind’s eye and know exactly what you want, but you have to feel it in your body to create it. It’s the seeing and experiencing that creates the vibration. Are you seeing how each law interplays with the other?

Let’s go a little deeper with this Law of Vibration. In order to understand it and flow with the vibrations of love that create the good things we want, it is important to step back and not be in the middle of it, or the meaning of it. This is comparable to meditation in this way – a thought comes through your mind while you’re trying to get clear of thoughts to meditate fully, so you simply allow it to pass through your mind without judgment. The same principle applies with the Law of Vibration.

As you allow a vibration to be felt, pass no judgment on it even if it comes from a negative space. Simply notice it. See what it truly is. Do not sit in the space of whether it is good or bad – no judgment. Simply view it as it is. Then you can decide if this is a vibration you want to keep in motion or not. If it’s from fear you probably don’t want it, so release it. Then decide what you want to replace it from love. You are not creating it, you are simply feeling the vibration of it. If this seems a little deep to you, it is, but in actuality, it is realness.

Now we step into the Law of Belief. This is what you actually believe – your truth. What you really believe inside of you, even if the words you speak say something contrary, is what you manifest. As you sit in the vibration and notice what it is without judgment, you can understand your belief. Here’s an example. I have been on a path of understanding what it takes to have vibrant health all through my adult life. Many experiences have appeared to help me understand this more fully, some of which were far from pleasant. I remember having moments of doubt that I could ever become healthy as various disorders occurred. Later however, as I understood these universal laws, I realized my inner thoughts that maybe I’d never find the answers I needed, or perhaps I wouldn’t find the ‘right’ people to help me, actually created a vibration of fear that created additional problems for me. What I finally learned was to know I was already whole and could simply step into that wholeness and the process of creating more wholeness – a positive process.

Understand this: Whatever shows up for you is what is inside of you!

So if things in your life are not what you truly desire, step into a quiet space and notice what your real beliefs are. Somewhere in the recesses of your subconscious lies the truth, and once uncovered, you have the option to let it go completely and create new beliefs. So even though I had placed an intention to be vibrantly healthy all through my life, my deep down belief was that most people receive various health challenges during their lifetime, and that as I age they will get worse. As you probably are, I was busy and didn’t take time to dig deep into my real beliefs until more recent years. As a result, I delayed the actual outcome I was seeking, but the old saying “It’s never too late” certainly applies here.

What do you believe your place is in the whole landscape of your life? Taking it even further, where do you feel you fit in the whole scenario of the universe? These are tough questions for many individuals to answer, but there are answers if you dig deep enough. Now we can step into the next universal law which is the foundation of the entire universe!

This is the Law of Oneness. Were you taught as I was that we are separate from Universal Energy, God, Spirit, Heaven and the Angels? When we feel separate from our essence of love and the power that surges through the universe from the Higher Power, it’s a given we would feel afraid and separated. But when we understand that we are all connected and are in truth part of one energy, it’s an entirely different story.

What does it mean we are all connected? The entire universe – people, plants, animals, insects, all of nature, angels, God, planets, stars, sun – everything – are all composed of the same energy. There is one universal source of energy that is in continuous motion connecting all that is. Although each part of the universe may look and be different, it has the composition of energy. Energy is often referred to as a vibration – we discussed this already. And it’s the heart energy that is the cohesive energy for all humanity.

After the experience of 9/11 and the horrific ramifications of it, people came together in incredible ways – people felt empathy and love for all those who were hurting and grieving. Individuals and groups pulled together to help those who were suffering and in need because their hearts filled with love for these people. No one considered what anyone thought about political views, religion or any other belief, they simply helped where it was needed because they felt it in their heart. In this example we see the Law of Acceptance played out. This law is a sub-law for the Law of Oneness, but is vital to grasp in the light of the Law of Oneness.

When we accept, we are connected; we are one. There is no attachment to certain beliefs or judgments, it just is. This is love – acceptance without judgment or putting a particular meaning to a situation. In this space people can readily forgive another because there is a realization that the other person can be who they are and believe what they want and not fear our resistance to them. Of course it doesn’t mean we accept illegal, immoral or hurtful behavior as okay, but we can still accept and love the individual.

This means that you and I are even connected through the vibration of universal energy to abhorred individuals such as murderers or rapists; they are part of the universal energy pool. However, the huge difference is how they are operating their life, obviously one based in deep fear-based beliefs and are making grossly negative choices, but they began just as we did from the same energy source. When we understand this connection to all of the universe, we have the capability of being more tolerant and accepting of individual differences as long as they remain within the boundaries of legal and moral standards.

The Law of Oneness tells us, being that we are cohesively connected to the universal energy pool, that we are part of all that is good – abundance, great health, wonderful relationships, peace, joy, happiness – this is our heritage and who we really are, having been formed from love. In essence, we actually do not have to attract anything into our life because it is already here. All we need do is open to it by aligning to that loving energy.

We were talking earlier about the Law of Attraction and how so often it doesn’t seem to work. All of the laws we’ve been discussing are part of the Law of Attraction and must be part of the process of attracting what you want. First you must grasp the belief that you are a creator of your life. Every thought and belief you entertain, especially when they become repetitive in your mind, becomes your reality. Those thoughts are composed of energy which sends out a vibration into the universe to bring to you experiences from that same energy pool. It cannot do anything different; it always must grab from the same energy pool. So it seems it would be essential for you to pay attention to your thoughts and the consequential vibrations you are sending out every minute of every day. If you don’t like something in your life, then go back to your thoughts and begin remodeling them because what is appearing in your life experience is a direct result of your internal thinking. It’s time to clear out the old beliefs, blocks and fear-based thoughts so you can open to what is real and love.

A simple process I learned recently can help you clear out those unwanted, outdated and limiting negative beliefs you have been hanging onto way too long, blocking what you desire. It’s so simple and totally free that you may doubt its benefits, but I can promise that if you do this regularly, you can easily shift into peace and harmony from the oneness of universal love energy, and there create your wish list into reality.

Sit quietly and simply relax a few moments, as if you are preparing to meditate. Take a few deep breaths. Notice the energy around and in your body and just be aware of it. Feel that energy and know you are creating a type of filter to sort out negative beliefs. You are also grounding yourself in the flow of energy, anchoring yourself into the earth while aligning with divine love. Now bring your attention back and bring to mind whatever issues that don’t serve your highest good – it could be something small or large… whatever is bothering or depleting you, or causing you worrisome thoughts. See it, then simply let it go and watch it dissolve into smoke, wafting away from you. Sit for a minute and breathe in the serenity of the moment and recognize the knowing that All Is Well! Repeat this process whenever you have something you wish to dissolve, or even continue the process at one sitting.

As you comprehend the oneness of the universe and your connection to everything and everyone, you can better understand how easy it is to bring to you your dreams, as long as you align with them and the universal energy of love. Many times individuals rush from here to there, perhaps reciting some beautiful affirmations of what they want and what they believe, but inside of them a different script circulates. And what is held within always come out in the end result.

Oneness is a wonderful connection to Spirit. Anything that looks like struggle or resistance does not come from Spirit. Oneness also allows us the privilege of sharing, and when we focus on service and sharing the good we have and are, we open to more of everything. Vibrations of generosity, blessings, gratitude and love always connect us to the abundance of the universe and help us operate our lives in total alignment with the powerful laws of the universe.

But we must go one step further with the universal laws and mention the Law of Giving Back. This must always be part of the equation if you ever want to create the desires of your heart from a place of prosperity consciousness. It means that you give, expecting nothing in return, with cheerfulness and willingness. Bless everything you send out and it will return ten-fold – a law of the universe. This must be given with the intent of giving a gift to God, and doing so will add to the love flowing out to humanity, which is forever moving and creating more of the same. Always say “Thank you” for every bit of abundance that either comes into your life or you willingly share with others, for we know that a grateful heart reaps many gifts as it expands into more.

We’ve circled the spectrum of the universal laws from what seems like the beginning to the end, yet realizing it is one continuous circle of energy flowing from one to the other with actually no beginning nor no end. My intent was to remind you of these universal laws that are continuously governing your life with or without your awareness, but perhaps, now that I have reminded you of their immense importance as they flow through your every day life, you will pay attention to them and make necessary changes to use them for good not only in your life, but to all humanity.
